ESLRS ideas from the Central Evening Home Group are that students will:

1. Feel confident about themselves and their ability to adjust to the changing world.
2. Acheive their educational goals regardless of prior experience, background, ethnicity or disability
3. Meet his or her own goal and feel good about himself or herself in a manner that is open to learning in the true sense.
4. Be able to transfer new knowledge to other applications.
5. Apply acquired skills by being an informed citizen, consumer, and voter who contributes to the community.
