Agreement Between the San Mateo Union High School District and the Adult School Federation of Teachers

ARTICLE XIX: CONCERTED ACTIVITIES

It is agreed upon and understood that there will be no strike, work stoppage, slow-down, or other interference with the operations of the District by the Federation or by its officers or agents during the term of this Agreement.

The Federation recognizes the duty and obligation of the Federation and all members of the bargaining unit to comply with the provisions of this Agreement. In the event of a strike, work stoppage, slow-down or other interference with the operations of the District by employees who are represented by the Federation, the Federation agrees to advise those employees to cease such action. It is agreed and understood that any employee violating this Article may be subject to disciplinary action by the District.

In addition, the organizations represented by the Federation, together with their officers, agents, and members agree that there shall be no strikes, slow-downs, or stoppages of work, however peaceful, that tend to interfere with the operation of the District, its officers and managers, or any other governmental agency or body, even if such acts are related to sympathy with another group of employees.
