Agreement Between the San Mateo Union High School District and the Adult School Federation of Teachers


ARTICLE XVIII: SAFETY CONDITIONS FOR EMPLOYEES AND STUDENTS

To achieve the goal of eliminating unsafe conditions, employees are to report in writing any unsafe or potentially unsafe conditions to the Director or the Director's designee. If not immediately correctable at the site, the Director shall forward the report to the District Office within five (5) working days.
The Adult School Administration shall respond to the employee within ten (10) working days as to what action will be taken regarding the reported condition. If no action is to be taken, the Adult School Administration shall indicate the reason in writing. Classes in the affected area(s) may be relocated until the hazard is removed.
