Agreement Between the San Mateo Union High School District and the Adult School Federation of Teachers

ARTICLE XIII: STAFF MEETINGS
The Director or his/her designee will conduct at least ten (10) staff meetings during the school year. Additional meetings may be held as the Director determines necessary. Teachers required to attend will be paid their regular hourly rate if the meeting takes place during times they would otherwise be conducting class. By this clause the District does not waive its right to conduct or refrain from conducting staff meetings during working hours, or its right to reject staff meeting proposals outside the scope of mandatory bargaining subjects.

Unit members may not be required to attend meetings outside their regularly scheduled class time, except by mutual agreement between the unit member and the Director or his/her designee.
