VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Tutoring Opportunities:  From time to time San Mateo Adult Education has rewarding opportunities for people who wish to donate their talents and skills. Most community volunteers work with Citizenship, English as a Second Language, Adult Basic Education, or 50+ Program students in the morning, afternoon or evening at our various sites. LITERACY TUTOR TRAINING                         Free
Learn to help English as a Second Language adults acquire English skills needed to accomplish their life goals. No prior tutoring experience is required. Participants attend the orientation and then observe an Adult Education class at a later date. Upon completion participants will receive a Certificate of Completion and may work as volunteers in ESL Classes.
