PARENTING THE
ADOLESCENT $30
Open new doors for communication in this often challenging
stage of life. Teens today live in a world very different from
what parents experienced. Parents can help their teenagers’
chances of success in school and life by understanding facts
about physical development, self-image, teen parents, social
development, divorce and blended families. In this class you
will also learn and apply principles of positive family
dynamics, conflict resolution, communication and encouragement
so that your family can grow together. Families that are in the
process of separating, divorcing or transitioning find this
class very useful You may register in class. Approved as a court

It’s not just a game! Play is important! Join us with one child
and learn how to play games that encourage emotional, physical,
psychomotor, language, and social development. Bring your child
from 12 to 36 months old. Register in class. Attend one or two
times per week.

Designed for: parents, nannies, family childcare providers,
relative care. This four-part series gives you the tools to
build a quality childcare environment. Topics will include:
Childcare Issues; Quality Infant and Toddler Environment;
Nutrition; and Child Development; Playing Is Learning.
Participants who complete all sessions of either class will
receive a certificate of completion.
