Upholstery -
mAKING Slipcovers
$70
If your goal is to design a coordinated look, redecorate for the
season or protect the furniture from kids and pets, a slipcover is a
great way to go. In this class students will be shown the
step-by-step process using their own furniture piece that they will
store in class. Bring to the first class; your fabric, scissors,
pins, tape and marking chalk. There are some sewing machines
available for use in the classroom. Some sewing experience is
helpful. I have been active in art my entire life. As I travel
through life, I find many inspirations to incorporate into my art.

If you have a desire to revive a family heirloom, or design your
own unique modern concept, we are here to make your experience
an enjoyable one! Beginners will start by constructing a boxed
pillow with a zipper or an upholstered stool; learning the
skills to enable the student to rejuvenate that special chair or
sofa. Some tools are easily found in a crafts or hardware store
and some can be ordered thru a catalogue. A complete materials
list is available to all new students. All levels are welcome!
