English as a Second Language Grammar & Idioms
 
All of our regular ESL classes study grammar, idioms, conversation and vocabulary. The classes on this page are for intermediate or advanced students who want to concentrate on specific skills. Come in to talk to an advisor to plan your own individualized plan. We have six levels of English and many more special classes.
   

FUNDAMENTALS of GRAMMAR
Improve your English Grammar for writing and speaking. This class can be a great addition to either your current schedule, or as a standalone class with a strong grammar focus.  To meet the individual needs of our English Language Learners, we have expanded this popular class by offering three levels.

CONVERSATION CLASSES
This is an interactive conversation class for ESL students. The class will assist students in their listening and speaking skills. Students will participate in a variety of both practical and challenging activities.

ESL GRAMMAR AND COLLEGE/TOEFL PREPARATION
If English is your second language, you're headed for college and you need to review for the TOEFL, you will find this class to be very valuable. This course will provide you with an in-depth analysis of English grammar and structure so that you will be more prepared to succeed in any class taught in English. This class has set start dates and lasts 6 weeks. Starts on the second Wednesday of each month. $75. Click here for more information.

SINGING IN ENGLISH        Free
Do you like to sing in the shower or sing along with the radio in the car? Come join our chorus and sing with others who like to sing. We’ll sing traditional and contemporary songs in English. This class is open to all levels of English.  Singing is a fun way to improve your English pronunciation and vocabulary skills and is a wonderful way to relieve stress.
