GETTING MORE FROM YOUR NIKON DSLR    $60
Nikon has long been associated with quality photographic equipment. With the introduction of their line of high value digital SLR (single lens reflex) cameras, many budding photo enthusiasts were convinced that the time was right to step up to the SLR’s superior capabilities. Students will learn to set ISO values to increase the camera’s sensitivity in low light, coordinate shutter and aperture settings and to set white balance to correct for variations in ambient light. In addition, electronic flash techniques, both on and off camera, will be covered. Bring your camera, the manual, some post-it notes, and the USB cable to each class. Prerequisites: Students should be able to access websites and perform searches using Google. They should also have the ability to transfer files using a Windows based computer system. 6 meetings.
