Improve your physical fitness in this 60-minute class! You will practice a variety of seated and standing exercises, as well as gait exercises to help increase your overall strength, enhance your flexibility and support better posture and functional balance. Class size is limited to 25. Register early.  Guest passes not accepted  for any of the Better Balance classes. (No class 1/16, 2/20, 4/3, 4/5,4/6)

Osteoporosis affects millions of Americans, predominantly women over 50 and men over 70. Exercise can help! Exercise is powerful medicine for people with osteoporosis. It helps reduce bone loss and builds stronger muscles to support you. The result is that you’re less likely to have a fall or fracture. In this gentle Pilates-based fitness program you will practice safe and effective standing, seated, and floor exercises designed to improve posture and balance, and increase strength and flexibility. Includes weight-bearing movements and resistance training that can help slow bone loss. Bring a mat and pillow. Must  be able to safely and independently get down to and up from the floor”.  No guest passes accepted.   (No class   4/5)
