PILATES: BALL WORKOUT Intermediate
Prerequisite: Beginning Ball Workout, or similar experience. Tone and strengthen your “core” – the abdominal, gluteus, hip, and postural muscles. Increase your upper body strength, improve your flexibility and balance, and invigorate your mind in this mixed level class.  Please bring your own exercise ball and mat. Guest passes accepted. (No class 4/5)

Discover long forgotten muscles and bring pleasure back to movement with Pilates! Pilates is a series of mat-based exercises designed to improve posture, balance, and flexibility while strengthening your “core” – the abdominal, gluteus, hip, and back muscles. No prior experience is necessary. Please bring a mat, pillow and a towel to class. Guest passes accepted. (No class 1/16, 2/20, 4/3)

An intermediate level class, designed for those who have taken Gentle Pilates, Level 1 and are ready for a more challenging workout. If you have osteoporosis or spinal issues, Level 1 is a more appropriate class for you. Please bring a mat and a pillow or towel to class. Guest passes accepted. (No class 4/6)

YOGA FOR HEALTH
Yoga is restorative. Practicing yoga calms some of your body’s system while strengthening others. You don’t have to do positions that are demanding to experience beneficial results. Start where you are and under the guidance of our 50Plus instructors your practice will gradually and surely enhance your strength, range of motion and well being. In addition to teaching customary yoga positions, instructors demonstrate modifications of postures for students as needed. Classes conclude with a meditative relaxation exercise. All levels welcome! Wear comfortable clothing. Bring a towel, small blanket and yoga mat. Guest passes accepted. (No class 1/16, 2/20, 4/3, 4/4, 4/6)
